2011

	Zumba is coming to Shotley!!! Ditch the workout and join the party! Come and join this Latin inspired dance class, it’s suitable for male or female, young or old. The dance routines are easy to follow and fun. The class is above The Shipwreck 8pm Thursday evenings. £5 per person, bring a drink and a towel, a pair of nylon knee highs are essential to put over the toe of your trainers to allow your feet to move freely on the carpet, there will be a limited amount available at the class. 	Suffolk Sport is to continue funding the chair based exercise sessions at Shotley Village Hall for a further 8 weeks We have had a great response from the local community but we still feel more people could benefit, socially as well as physically! Chair Based Exercise Venue: Shotley Village Hall When: Tuesdays 2-3pm Beginning: 5th July for 8 weeks Cost: £3 a session Chair-based exercise can help strengthen the muscles we use in everyday activities such as washing and dressing, while also preventing falls. The classes are a great opportunity to get out and enjoy some company while exercising. Thu 21 Jul	SHOTLEY KIDZONE SUMMER PARTY AND OPEN DAY On Thursday 21st July between 1pm - 3pm Shotley Kidzone would like to invite all present and future children to our Summer Party and Open Day. It is an opportunity for parents to have a look around,meet the team and ask any questions and for children to explore the setting and try out the new pirate ship - you even receive a pirate loot bag to take home with you. Wed 10 Aug	Soup-a-lunch The Shotley Soup-a-Lunch takes place every second Wednesday of the month, in Shotley Village Hall, 12noon - 1.30pm. For £3.50 you get a large bowl of soup. There is a choice of 3, 2 of which are homemade, a roll, a choice of 4 or 5 home made sweets or cheese, biscuits, and tea or coffee. There is no need to book - just come along! _______________________________________________________________
