| Update 24 February 2009 |
The Starfish Holiday Club continues to provide high quality, full time, child care in the school holidays and is open for business as usual during the two week Easter break.
We have a wide variety of activities and outings on offer, for further details please visit our web site at www.starfishclub.co.uk or phone 07877 59 89 23.
You may like to keep Friday 29 May free in the afternoon as we are having a giant raffle and jumble sale; the children will be busy baking cakes, making and sorting items and generally getting really excited about this event as they are raising money to subsidise the coach fare for their summer outing. We already have some fantastic offers of raffle prises, including meals from well known local restaurants and “eateries” and a giant sponge cake of your choice, baked when you would like it! Our thanks go to Margaret from Popins Tea Room, Holbrook for this prise.

| Update 13 November 2008 |
Are you wondering what to do on Friday 2 January when the turkey has been finished, the New Year festivities are over, the weather is probably cold and horrid and the family may need entertaining?
If you think you meet any or all the criteria The Starfish Holiday Club could have the answer. We are having a “make your own panto” day and, as well as the usual high quality child care we always offer, we are inviting adults and other family members to join us; under the expert guidance of Sally Letman we are going to put on our own panto, there will be enough parts for everyone and we guarantee a fun day for all.
Child care starts at the usual time of 08.30 and if you are coming for the panto, rehearsals begin at 10.00, bring a packed lunch, drink is provided, all for £20 for a family ticket of four. The panto will be staged at Stutton School at 16.30 on the same day to an audience of friends and family. More details from our website www.starfishclub.co.uk or by phoning 07877 59 89 23.

You could take the opportunity
to turn out those cupboards and let us turn your jumble into "coach miles".

restaurant, The Haywain, and the second prize is a hamper of fruit and
vegetables from Rookery Farm Shop, tickets are for sale all week from the

| Update 29 February 2008 |
| The club continues to be a success in terms of providing a safe, stimulating play environment for children during the school holidays.
This is evidenced by the increase in the number of children we have had accessing the service over the last year. We are committed to promoting “green” issues, recycling and care for the environment and have a programme linked to these themes for the next six months. During February half term we had two art workshops using recycled goods and a visit from two recycling officers from Babergh District Council.
For a detailed programme of activities during Easter and May school breaks please visit our web site, www.starfishclub.co.uk or e mail us at starfishholidayclub@yahoo.co.uk . Jane Gould.

Update 12 August 2007
For the first five weeks of the summer holidays children from a wide catchment area were engaged in a large variety of workshops, outings, art and craft activities and sports events. The club was fortunate enough to have a team of enthusiastic and capable volunteers who worked alongside the play workers making the time we spent together a very positive experience for everyone involved. We had many new members and many who have been with us for a number of years who are always keen to return.
The next time we will be “open for business” will be the week of October half term and I am already putting together a programme for that week and for the Christmas holiday period. If you would like to know more about the club please look on our web site www.starfishclub.co.uk and to make bookings either phone 07877 5989 23 or e mail us at starfishholidayclub@yahoo.co.uk.
