Last year's meeting was a great success. Most village groups were represented and most also gave a report. It was a celebration of everything good that goes on in the Village. Feedback on the changes in the style of the meeting, from the public and the Groups that came along, were very positive.

This year we will continue to have organisations present a brief report on their activities over the past year. As well as speaking at the meeting we are asking the groups to produce a written/typed report and deliver it to the Clerk by Friday 21 April. This will then be attached to the minutes of the meeting. Your organisation can reserve a small area of the Hall to use as a showcase for your group, perhaps with examples of your activities. It could also be used as a recruitment stall for new members to talk to you or as a place from which to do some fundraising e.g. by running a raffle. Its use would be entirely up to you. Please let the Clerk know if you will be coming, and she will make appropriate arrangements.

This meeting is also the best time to make funding requests to the Parish Council.

Posters are up around the Village. There will be updates on the Ganges Inquiry and from the Parish Plan Implementation Board.
