Residents are invited to come and talk to the police informally about issues they have in their area and also get information on crime prevention etc. There will be a ‘pod' – a mini police station. Other agencies will also be present, putting into practice the principles of Safer Neighbourhood Teams by working together. Members of Shotley Parish Council and neighbourhood watch co-ordinators will also be there. |
