Viking Forest Project

Golden Wood

The season has been good for the plants (even if it hasn't been kind to us) with good numbers of primrose, cowslip, field scabious, knapweed (black and greater), yellow rattle and ragged robin, together with a number of other species.

The trees are also doing exceptionally well and it's all down to the management we have maintained over the last few years. Hopefully we will meet again on the dates in question - please do encourage as many willing hands as possible (grandparents, parents and children) - together we can all make a significant difference to the wildlife and environment we all cherish.

Remember - Viking Forest Project is not solely for us but is aimed towards our children's, children's, children. Leaving something behind for future generations.
