Confidence is high in Shotley and Erwarton amongs the volunteers that have delivered the questionnaire to every household that their efforts will produce a positive result.

Over 1600 questionnaires have been distributed including one to every young person in the two villages and the volunteers are begining to return to collect those that have been completed .

Phil Radley the Parish Plans Committee Chairperson said "We have been really encouraged by the response on the doorstep. There is a strong recognition that the Parish Plans are a mechanism for really getting your views across and determining how the myriad needs of the Villages will be prioritised and met in the future. Everyone is keen to have their say be it on the future of the surgery, traffic and public transport or meeting the needs of young people."
