Shotley man launches union campaign

Dave Steel Vice President Candidate



Public Services Diploma Student Dave Steel (18) has launched his campaign to become the next Vice President on Suffolk New College Students’ Union.

Promising to be friendly and approachable in dealing with students’ problems and issues Dave wants a many people as possible to get involved in the life of the college and its union.

Dave also wants co-operation not competition with the new University to maximise their resources for the benefit of both groups of students.

As a volunteer with the Red Cross Dave is genuinely committed to the health and well being of people.

Well known as a performer and promoter on the local music scene Dave is well placed to ensure an interesting and varied programme of fun social events.

In his manifest Dave also commits himself to working with the college on the “green agenda.”

Voting will take place at Suffolk New College from Monday 19 to Friday 23 May from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
