Interested in playing petanque?

We are the Suffolk County Petanque Association and are looking to set up a Suffolk Coastal Petanque League for 2008.

Petanque is a sport that can be played by all people of all ages and of all physical ability and is also a very inexpensive game to play.

If you have played before, want to play or are a pub or club with suitable facilities (this can include a gravel car park as this is ideal as a ready made piste and saves the expense of building a purpose made pitch) then we would love to hear from you. What we are proposing for next year is for people to enter 4-person teams with matches probably being played once a fortnight from April to August. As interest is growing on this side of the County we may even need to split things into North & South areas so as to limit peoples travelling.
