Now in its 8th year!

The Viking Forest Project is a local group who, in conjunction with Shotley Primary School children, have been growing and planting trees for Golden Wood - a newly planted piece of land behind Orwell View Road in Shotley.

Each year we hold an “Images of Shotley” weekend to raise awareness of the project through local art and craft work. This year also has an exciting photo competition - Shotley Life?

  • Sat 24 April Dawn Chorus walk (optional). Art Exhibition, ploughman lunch, arts and crafts
